Lynn Martins tour will begin by taking a 100 to 150-meter stroll off the main road and onto a narrow track that leads inland – which is the only access way to the gardens, and where you will also find Lynn and her partner Mauis home. As you come approach their home, which sits on the edge of a raised coral cliff, you will be wowed by the breath-taking panoramic views of the hills in the far distance and valley below.
Much of what is grown in Lynn’s garden is seasonal, fruits and vegetables alike, all organically grown in Mangaian rich red soil. Lynn also has a small farm of animals which you will see as she takes you through her garden. During the summer tropical flowers are in full bloom and adorn the landscape. Lynn is a lady of many talents, and although most of her time is spent in her gardens, she also has a passion for creating arts & crafts which she sells at her little airport shop and makes delicious organic chutney, jams and marmalades.
As your tour nears the end, enjoy a delicious light lunch prepared from the finest ingredients from Lynn’s garden before heading back to your accommodation. For many, the short time spent with Lynn listening to her stories, whilst enjoying the beauty of your surroundings, and its tranquillity gives you a great sense peace and appreciation for life itself.
